These rotten casements were completely rotten at the mortise and tenons joints with the rot being replaced by buckets of filler installed over the years it had been decaying. We re-jointed the tenons back using accoya wood and re-mortised the stiles .Once the face putty was applied the windows were back to looking as good as new.
