This 300 year old window needed both the top and the lower sills fully replaced and re mortised and tenoned back together in Accoya.It was so rotten even the tenons on the mullions and jambs were rotten too, so needed new slot tenons to be added before the sill could be re joined into place.Both top and lower sills were biscuit jointed together before final clamping to ensure they stay glued and weather tight forever.
