Curved 1920’s bay window

This is a 1920’s bungalow in Marlow Bucks, that had a rotten sill and the curved glass had a large crack running down it. We pre made a new curved hardwood sill as well as pre ordering a new curved glass pane before work began.The curved sills are simply made by joining lots of short pieces of wood together at 15 degrees then over lapping them again with the next layer ,this way gives the sill extra strength as there is in effect no end grain.
