New Casement Window in Chesham

This Georgian-style casement window had been fitted 10 years before. Being non-pressure treated and designed and fitted poorly, it had completely rotten-through and wasn’t worth repairing.

For the replacement, we made subtle but crucial changes to the head, stiles and casement design which gave the new window better weather protection. Making the window in pressure treated pine meant that the window will be far more rot resistant. To round-out the improvements, we fitted the latest energy-saving, super-insulated double glazing and finished the woodwork with flawless coats of satin 10-year-life paint.
