This is a square bay made in hardwood with hidden structural supports inside the corner posts .The entire head is made from solid 9 by 9 inch hardwood to help offer support for the huge gable end above.The glazing bars are positioned and jointed in a traditional Bourne End arrangement .A few years after the bay sliding sash window was put in the owners asked us to convert and extend it to a 3 window faced bay which was challenging but we managed its tying in perfectly the new and the old 12 inch protruding sills together.
