6 x windows all leaded and double casement on a listed building in Churchgate Cookham need servicing with the main issue being the rebates weren’t deep enough to accommodate the depth of the leaded glass ,meaning there was no room for the face putty. The solution was to remove the leaded glass and then router the rebates deeper, bedding was done using a polymer and some belt sanding and lots of preservative later and they were back to looking like new.The double casements looked unusually tall suggesting a much old property but after close inspection it turned out to be a casement window inside an early Victorian box window (SLIDING SASH WINDOW).
