After being on other jobs while the double-glazed units were manufactured from the templates, we were back near Risborough to reglaze the window.

Due to the weight and height above the ground of the large arched unit, we carefully choreographed its movement up the tower and into its final position using the template before attempting it with the glass itself.

The last job was to replace all of the rotten beading around the window. Some of the more damaged areas were arched. To reproduce them, we were able to salvage some pieces of the original to give us the shape (as it wasn’t a true curve) before routing and cutting them out. Once fitted, it was just a case of sealing up and priming everything ready for the decorator.
