A rotten oak post caused by a poorly fitted gutter that over flowed every time it rained needed repairing.This repair was made harder because the PVC windows either side were impossible to remove.A special template needed to be made for the router to sit on in order to create a perfect joint.

Another wooden window repair this time its a casement sash that needed repairs this summer that was again delivered to me house by the customer and collected a few hours later fully repaired in a as good as new condition .The repairs were in off cut pieces of Accoya wood which are guaranteed to last 50 years.As well as a whole new bottom rail one of the stiles also needed a 1/2 veneer repairs to make good.

Beaconsfield bottom rail casement sash repair

A wooden window repair this time the customer bought this sash to me so I didn’t even visit the address and collected the as good as new sash a few hours later .A quick and easy slot tenon and 1/2 inch veneer repair .This only took a few hours to make good as it is the easiest repair in the book what with both stiles being in good condition .All preserved and repaired using 50 life Accoya wood.

Sill replacement in Beaconsfield

This repair in hardwood was done leaving the glass in place ,removing the rotten sill and glueing an new one behind the rebate so that it wasn’t exposed to the outside and finished off with a cover piece for extra projection .All of the old sill to taken back perfectly flat and square using just hand tools i.e. very sharp chisels.

French Door Repairs

These rotten french doors in Windsor needed a new bottom rails ,dips and stile repairs .All the beading was replaced in hardwood,reglazed , preserved and painted with one coat before being returned back to the customer as good as new.

350 year old listed building window renovation and repair work.

All new external window architraving replacement ( in 1st grade oak ) for a listed building in Reading Berks.This 350 year old buildings old external architraving has all perished away and is being replaced to match the existing mouldings exactly ,which requires getting a new bespoke cutter made .The windows are fully sealed all around before the beading is fitted as part of the 10 window renovation work.
