This Yorkshire slider in Beaconsfield Old Town is a bit like a sliding sash but opens sideways.The bottom rail needed to be fully replaced but we saved the internal moulding .An a-b-c repair method was used all in Accoya wood and the sash was fully re-face putted .

This casement sash needed a whole new bottom rail re-jointed and glued as well as needing the bottom half of both stiles re-jointed too.All repairs were done using Accoya and took one day to collect the sash bring to Bourne End , repair and then return and rehang the sash by that afternoon.

This grade 2 listed building near the castle is around 250 years old.The top sash meeting rail has dropped at both ends because both tenons have completely rotted .The solution was to take out the sash and bring it to the workshop in order to remake and rejoint a new meeting rail this time in accoya .The reglazing was in linseed oil putty with a polymer bed.
